You look fabulous in your outfit - I love the coat especially (and one of your velvet bags in the luggage shot did not go unnoticed - so lovely). Looks like you're already having some fun adventures in the UK - hope there are many more and that you share them with us! Now the big dilemma with all that luggage is, how will you get all the car boot sale, charity shop and vintage sale goodies you buy home? :) :)

Olga comments on Silents at the seaside

This town looks so cute and pretty! People at the seaside are adjusted, having lived through the winter and experiencing warmer weather, whereas for you, I am guessing you are coming from warmer weather into the breezy coolness of the British sea side.
Enjoy your stay!

Lizzie comments on Silents at the seaside

You didn't waste any time jumping into having fun, did you?! And welcome back to the UK! Vix is right, packing for a trip in this country is always tricky; you need to consider every possible eventuality, the weather could do anything!
I have never been to Aldeburgh, it looks very pretty. I love the houses painted different colours, and it's always nice to be by the sea. Doubtless you were feeling the sea breeze, hence your layers - Brits strip off at the merest hint of sun, since we are never sure when we might see it again! xxxx

Norma comments on Silents at the seaside

I didn't know Aldeburgh had a silent film festival. And there isn't anything like that kind of comeplement, is there? You look amazing.
And yeaaaayyyyy for you and your compost. What a good idea ... co-op and city recycling and renewal projects are something I miss terribly down here. No services makes it more difficult to just toss things, but too many people solve the problem by burning huge piles of it or dumping it in the nearest ravine.
Good job, all around, you.
