Words I like:

"She was dressed, as usual, in an odd assortment of clothes, most of which had belonged to other people."

Excellent Women by Barbara Pym (1913-1980)

“I said "Somebody should do something about that." Then I realized I am somebody.”

Making headway on the India Trip 2007 blog

gudi.jpgI've been plugging away on my India trip travelogue, about half way through the trip so far. Check out India Trip 2007 to read about my visits to animal shelters, sanctuaries, and rescue centers in India.

Read about the spoiled dogs of Visakha SPCA, the lions and tigers rescued from circuses, and the cast of quirky canine characters at Compassion Unlimited Plus Action's shelter in Bangalore.
