Words I like:

"She was dressed, as usual, in an odd assortment of clothes, most of which had belonged to other people."

Old furs comfort the young and furry

baby_raccoon_fur.jpgA recent article in The Boston Globe reported on a program of the Humane Society of the United States, which distributes coats, stoles, and jackets to wildlife rehabilitators. Called Coats for Cubs, the program makes good use of furs that should never have been taken in the first place.
