How do you say "Good boy" in Punjabi?

A dog in the U.K. that only understands Punjabi is up for adoption. The shelter that has him is looking for someone to teach him English. Wouldn't it be just as easy for his new owners to learn how to say "sit," "stay," and "fetch" in Punjabi? Reprinted from here:

Dog Seeks Owner To Go Talkies
LOVABLE labrador who can only understand Punjabi is in desperate need of new owners to teach him English.

Junior, a two-year-old black lab, has been looked after by an Indian couple and will only respond to commands in their native tongue.

Now he is looking for a new home after one of his elderly owners fell ill and he was handed in to the Glasgow Cat and Dog Home. Workers are launching a desperate search for someone to take the pooch under their wing and teach him how to sit, stay and fetch - in English.

Anna O'Donnell, the assistant manager of the home, which is run by the Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA), said: "Junior is an extremely friendly dog. When he lived with his previous owners they spoke Punjabi for the majority of the time and he has heard very little English. His new owner will have to start from scratch in teaching him to respond to commands. We are looking for someone who knows a bit about animals to take him on, and it also needs to be someone with the patience and time to help him. He would probably suit a family with older children or someone who does a lot of walking, as he's full of energy."

A colleague added: "He is a bit confused at the moment because he doesn't understand English. We are looking for a new home that will be able to continue to train and teach him his new language. We really want to find him somewhere nice because, he's a really a good dog.
